This interactive workshop guides participants through planning a qualitative inquiry process that centers a narrative approach. Working from participant-generated research questions or program/practice assessment priorities, participants will consider why stories are a compelling source of data, what stories need to be told, who should collaborate or contribute their stories, when and where to collect stories, how to attend to ethical tensions in the process, and diverse methods of dissemination. In small groups, participants will workshop ideas with peers to clarify a plan for advancing their particular research or assessment inquiry.
